Crafts for our home means a lot more when they are homemade.
Whether we make them ourselves, or a family member made it or a friend. There are many crafts that are useful in our homes.
To name a few: embroidering pillow slips and table linens, quilts, latch hook rugs, crocheting or knitting afghans, dish cloths, potholders, hot dish mats, shawls and sewing.
When we are working on a project we need to remember, “A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.” – Proverbs 17:22
Merry means: “glee-ful, glad, be glad, joyful, rejoicing”, according to Strong’s Concordance. So, we should be praising our Heavenly Father while we work with our hands. Here is an easy to knit dishcloth pattern.
