“Who can find a virtuous woman for her price is far above rubies.” Proverbs 31:10The woman and her role is a very important thing to God, so it should be to us as well. Let us look at a few things that has to do with the woman’s role.
The woman in today’s society seems to have lost femininity. What happened? Women felt that it was no longer fair to not be able to make some of the choices that the man makes, not be able to work, etc…
We should be glad to be keepers at home, and to take care of children while the husband is at work! It is our job. When you try to make the man stay at home and the wife go get a job, it will not work! The woman should be at home cleaning, cooking, and tending to children. I think a young lady should have plenty of practice cooking and cleaning, so that when she gets married she can have these skills. Just think, men like coming home from a long day of work, to a nice clean house, good food, and rest!

I think it is a light to this dark, sinful world when they see a submissive, modest young lady. The world does not have many! When we get married we want to be the best witness we can be by being under authority! (But until then, we can be submissive to our fathers!)

The woman’s role in the church is also important: “Let the woman learn silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach or usurp authority over a man but to be in silence.” 1 Timothy 2:11-12

So, I believe women should not speak in church or most definitely not preach. They are commanded not to usurp man’s authority.
Let’s remember the importance of the woman’s role!!
